Blackstone Products, based in Providence, Utah, said the affected seasoning was sold at retail nationwide exclusively through Walmart stores and through the Blackstone Products website, according to the company announcement posted by the FDA.
The FDA notice says the recall was triggered by a California Dairies Inc. dry milk powder recall involving potential Salmonella contamination. The dry milk powder was supplied to a third-party manufacturer and used in the seasoning product. Blackstone said no illnesses had been reported in connection with the recalled seasoning as of the FDA notice.

The FDA’s major recall page, current as of May 18, lists downstream recalls involving multiple brands and products, including Ghirardelli powdered beverage mixes, Zapp’s and Dirty potato chips, snack mixes, popcorn seasoning, specialty beverages and Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning.
The agency said it was working with downstream consignees to determine whether additional recalls were needed, according to the FDA’s California Dairies powdered milk recall page.
Canadian authorities also posted a related notice on May 19, 2026, for Blackstone brand Parmesan Ranch Seasoning distributed online and in Ontario.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency listed the affected product as 207 g Blackstone Parmesan Ranch Seasoning with UPC 7 17604 04106 2, code 2025-46172, and best-before date August 5, 2027. Canada classified the notice as a Class 2 recall and told retailers not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product, according to the Canadian recall notice.
