Today, to mark the three year anniversary of the Obergefell decision, which made marriage for same-sex couples the law of the land, both Upworthy and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) hosted “Upworthy #Upchat,” a social media talkback on the state of LGBTQ equality in the U.S. Advocacy organizations, politicians, and members of Congress were among the participants — Freedom for All Americans participated as well. We thank HRC and Upworthy for their efforts in fostering this important dialogue, and for helping to commemorate this milestone anniversary in LGBTQ history.
