Come Meet Freedom for All Americans and SKYY Vodka at Castro Street Fair!By Adam Polaski • September 30, 2017 • 12:29 pm
On Sunday, October 1, the Freedom for All Americans team is thrilled to team up with SKYY Vodka for the Castro Street Fair in San Francisco, California! We’ll come together to celebrate all of the momentum we’ve built for LGBTQ non-discrimination – and look toward the ample work ahead.
SKYY Vodka, long term advocates for equality for all, will have a space at the event’s festival, and Freedom for All Americans staff members will be there to help you get engaged in the work ahead for LGBT non-discrimination protections.
It’s time to celebrate our successes this year and mobilize for the work ahead. It will take energy from LGBT activists across the country to fight back against anti-LGBTQ discrimination. And as we are faced with an administration in the White House that has already shown itself to be hostile to LGBTQ equality, we must be more vigilant than ever.
The Castro Street Fair is a great way to come out, celebrate, and get inspired. Team members from Freedom for All Americans will be there alongside our friends at SKYY Vodka, and we are looking forward to talking with supporters on the importance of LGBTQ non-discrimination.
The event in San Francisco is the fourth event this year that brings Freedom for All Americans together with SKYY Vodka. In June, we spoke with supporters at Jersey Pride in Asbury Park, NJ and at LA Pride in Los Angeles, CA – and at the end of June we marched with SKYY and the cast of Transparent for New York City Pride! Our time together at Austin Pride, scheduled for August, has been rescheduled for October.
Our strategic & long term partnership with SKYY will see the company contribute resources to support Freedom for All Americans’ bipartisan campaign to secure full nondiscrimination protections for LGBT people nationwide. Together, we’ll work to support education on key issues impacting the LGBT community and continue the work to improve lives of LGBT Americans each and every day.
